One-on-One Guitar Lessons

Now you can learn finger-picking blues guitar in the comfort of your own home with one-on-one lessons by Ken Caudill, owner and editor of DownHomeBluesGuitar.com. Explore the styles of greats like Merle Travis, Lightnin’ Hopkins, Robert Johnson, and Mississippi John Hurt without driving to a music store or studio.

Expect to learn the ins and outs of developing an independent thumb, finger rolls, Delta style blues, Texas style blues, and slick country hybrid picking.

Here’s what you need:

a high-speed internet connection

a basic knowledge of first position chords

Lessons are delivered via Skype. You’ll be able to ask questions, get personal instruction and learn at your own pace.

Rates:

$30 for 1/2 hour.
$40 for 45 minutes.
$50 for 1 hour

How do I schedule a lesson?

How do I pay for the lesson?

Payment is made through Paypal. Payments must be made at least 24 hours prior to scheduled lesson time. Multiple lesson can be prepaid, ask for details.

What if I need to cancel a lesson?

If you need to cancel a lesson, you must give at least 24 hours notice. If payment was made for the lesson, you will be given a full refund.

What if I want to stop taking lessons altogether?

There is no commitment. You can cancel at anytime.

What if my lesson is interrupted due to technical difficulties?

If a lesson is interrupted due to technical difficulties (power outages, loss of internet connection, video chat software problems, etc.), your teacher will contact you via phone to reschedule. You will have your teacher’s phone number and email as well.
